Does EVA Air allow you to cancel a flight?

Yes, EVA Air allows you to cancel a flight. But cancellation is only allowed ahead of departure. If you don’t cancel or report at the airport for check-in, you will be considered a no-show. A no-show fee will be charged from such passengers. Discounted tickets in Economy can’t be canceled. Tickets in other classes will require you to pay EVA Air ticket cancellation fee. The cancellation fee or no-show fee will be adjusted in your refund. The below things must be remembered on cancellation.

·       Direct bookings may be canceled on EVA Air website.

·       Bookings made through third-party must be canceled through the agency.

·       Cancelation must be carried out using a form on EVA Air website.

How do you cancel an EVA Air booking?

Normally, the ticket cancellation form on EVA Air website may be used. You must submit the form before departure of your itinerary’s first flight. What is the cancellation fee on EVA Air?

As of now, the airline doesn’t impose EVA Air ticket cancellation fee. Only a refund fee will be deducted from the amount refunded. The surcharge will depend on the fare type purchased. It is higher on lower fare classes and vice-versa. Take a look at the refund surcharges you may pay.

·       In Economy - The charges may be up to $260 for Economy Basic ticketholders.

·       In Premium Economy - The charges may be up to $210 for Premium Economy Standard ticketholders.

Can you get a refund on EVA Air?

Yes, EVA Air will give you a refund for unused tickets. Discounted tickets in Economy may not be refunded. But if you are traveling to or from US, you may get a refund under EVA Air 24-hour flight cancellation policy. You must cancel the ticket of a flight 7 or more days away within 24 hours of purchase. You will have to apply for a refund after canceling your ticket. Here are a few things you need to know about refunds.

·       Used segments will be repriced - If it's a partially used ticket, the used segment will be repriced before refund is issued.

·       Tickets paid with miles & cash - Unused ticket will be refunded in cash.

·       Partially used tickets paid with miles & cash - Only the unused portion will be refunded in cash. Miles will get forfeited.

·       Booking Service Charge is not refunded - Unless your flight was canceled due to controllable reasons, booking service charge is withheld.
